Richard entered the securities industry in 1986 after teaching at Wayne State University where he completed both his Masters and Doctoral work. First as an advisor with E.F. Hutton and Company, he then moved companies and was appointed as National Director of Institutional Consulting for Prudential Securities in New York City. He joined Fox Asset Management in Little Silver, New Jersey as head of Research and Portfolio Management for Institutional accounts where he served major corporations, Municipal and Taft-Hartley accounts.
Moving back to Michigan after the loss of his oldest child, he joined PNC Bank serving as Senior Portfolio Manager for Trust Assets, and then shortly thereafter as the Senior Manager of Investment Research for Captrust of Raleigh, North Carolina, before transitioning to a Private Wealth Advisor for Executive Wealth Management in Northville, Michigan. Richard serves as faculty for the Ilitch School of Business Department of Finance, Graduate Division of Wayne State University.
Richard specializes in portfolio management for high net worth investors with concentrations in wealth planning and financial planning for the retirement field.
